SUMMARY:Rhythm of the Beach Drum Circle: September Session
DESCRIPTION:Drumming with your hands and getting into the rhythm with the group can be therapeutic\, hypnotic or just plain fun!\n\n\nJoin us in these monthly adult workshops for the beginner or experienced djembe drummer on Tuesdays. \nThis month’s dates: September 5\, 12\, 19\, 26 \nNOTE: The September session is now full for registrants who do not own their own djembe drum due to our limited supply of drums to borrow. For anyone who owns their own djembe\, join us anytime\, even if the program shows as fully registered. \nBring your own djembe drum or borrow one of ours. Please indicate upon registration if you own your own djembe drum that you bring along. \nParticipants without drums are also welcome to join us to contribute to the group through the addition of sound layering using our percussion instruments (eg. shakers\, wood blocks and tambourines). \nPlease keep a lawn or card table chair in the trunk of your car for the days when we are able to drum outdoors and dress for the weather. Water bottle\, sun hat and sunscreen are recommended. \nIn the event of unfavourable weather\, we will drum indoors. \nPlease re-new your registration each month if you wish to continue drumming session to session. (Please note this change as of June 2023)
