This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect first step into the futuristic world of 3D fabrication.  \nParticipants will learn the basics of 3D printing technology: from sourcing 3D print files on the web\, learning about CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software to the actual printing mechanics.  \nDiscover the vast potential of 3D printing for personal projects\, educational purposes\, or entrepreneurial endeavors. We’ll cover everything from choosing the right materials to understanding the slicing software that prepares your masterpiece for printing.  \nBy the end of the session\, you’ll witness a digital creation come to life as a physical object. If you’re curious about how to turn a digital model into a tangible item or simply looking to understand this cutting-edge technology\, our “Intro to 3D Printing” program is your ideal starting point. Let’s print the future\, one layer at a time! \nThe program will be located in the Digital Lab at the Wasaga Beach Public Library. \nThis program is open to participants 18 years of age and older.
