DESCRIPTION:This program is offered in partnership with La Cle in a hybrid format: participants may continue to participate remotely by Zoom\, if preferred\, or join the group in person at the library. \nPlease be aware that this program is offered entirely in the French language as conversational practice for adults 19 years+ who already know French. This is not a beginner instructional language class and is for intermediate to advanced learners wanting to practice their conversational French. \nRegister once by email with La Cle at: formation@lacle.ca and drop in by Zoom each week or in-person to Wasaga Beach Public Library – Group Study Room. A La Cle facilitator will send weekly reminder emails and the Zoom link. Free to participate.  \nLibrary membership is required for in-person participation. \n\nCe programme est offert en partenariat avec La Clé dans un format hybride : les participants peuvent participer à distance via Zoom ou en personne à la bibliothèque.\n\nVeuillez noter que ce programme est offert entièrement en français afin que les adultes de 19 ans et plus qui connaissent déjà le français puissent pratiquer et améliorer leur communication orale français. DESCRIPTION:Help contribute to a collaborative community art project!\n\n\n📌 Ages: 5-12 \n📅 Registration is required as seats are limited. WBPL Membership is required. Please register a seat for each person attending. \nHelp contribute to a collaborative community art project! \nIn partnership with the Town of Wasaga Beach\, the Library is seeking assistance from residents of all ages living in Wasaga Beach to contribute to a community-driven art project celebrating the unique stories and beauty of Wasaga Beach. \nParticipants will be guided to paint a themed square tile in watercolour embellished with posca marker. Completed tiles will be scanned to become part of a larger mural\, which will depict our Wasaga Beach shoreline and will be displayed along the back wall of the walking track in the new Wasaga Stars Arena. The mural will consist of 1\,176 tiles in total\, making it a prominent and lasting piece of public art. \nPlease register each participant separately with their library card number. \nNo experience is necessary. Spaces are limited. \n
