DESCRIPTION:Registration includes all 4 sessions: May 1st\, 15th\, 22nd and 29th Get support as you prepare for the transition to school!\n\n\n📅 Ages: Children starting school in September 2026📌 Wasaga Beach Public Library card required for registration. \nIn partnership with EarlyON\, the Getting Ready for Kindergarten program is a four-week series designed to help children entering Kindergarten in September 2026 prepare for the big transition. \nThe program meets once a week and is filled with engaging\, age-appropriate activities. \nEach session includes stories\, songs\, crafts\, games\, and guided learning experiences. Children will become familiar with classroom routines\, expectations\, and schedules\, while practicing key skills such as listening\, taking turns\, and raising their hands. The program also supports independence\, social development\, and early friendship-building\, with a focus on kindness\, empathy\, and sharing. \nThrough play-based activities\, children will build confidence and essential skills to help them feel comfortable and ready for the classroom. \nChildren who successfully complete the program will receive a special certificate of completion. \n📅 Dates: Fridays\, May 1st\, 15th \, 22nd and 29th🕐 Time: 1 0:00– 11:30 AM📍 Location: Wasaga Beach Public Library \nCommitment to all four sessions is required.Registration required.
