DESCRIPTION:Meet the three local artists behind WBPL’s September and October gallery exhibition\, The Light of Night and Day: Three Perspectives.\n\n\nMeet local artists Ron Skelly\, Carey Coram\, and Lisa as they share the stories\, inspiration\, and creative processes behind their artwork. \nThe evening will begin with a formal presentation from each of the artists followed by time to linger\, mingle and engage with each of the artists. \nBeing drawn to this area for its magnificent shoreline and natural beauty\, Ron Skelly draws inspiration from a life lived by the water. A passionate artist\, musician\, educator\, and songwriter\, Ron sees creativity as a way of connecting with and inspiring his community. \nCarey Coram explores light\, atmosphere\, water\, and the delicate spaces between realism and imagination through vibrant acrylic painting. Inspired by colour\, travel\, and the quiet beauty of the world around her\, Carey’s work reflects her journey of learning to slow down\, embrace the unknown and view her surroundings with fresh eyes. \nLisa\, the visionary behind Creative Madness Art Studios in Elmvale\, brings her lifelong passion for creativity and the healing arts through her practice of Intuitive Art Therapy as she works closely with students of all ages. Her paintings explore the shifting interplay of light across day and night and seek to capture the calm\, peace\, and sense of creative “flow” to a space where the outside world fades away.  Whether through her own painting or her teaching\, Lisa is dedicated to guiding others toward peace and self-discovery through art. \nJoin us for this intimate opportunity to be inspired by this engaging collaborative exhibition and the intertwined stories that bring the exhibition to life.
