DESCRIPTION:Join the Story Squad and become a comic book creator!\n\n\n📌 Ages: Grades K to 3.💳 Wasaga Beach Public Library card required for registration. \nIn this fun and imaginative program for children in Kindergarten to Grade 3\, young artists and storytellers will work to design their own characters\, dream up exciting adventures\, and turn their ideas into a colourful comic strip. \nFor those  who are seeking a creative kick-start\, “Finish this Comic” challenges are available.  \nKids will explore the basics of visual storytelling—like speech bubbles\, expressions\, action words\, and simple panels—through guided activities perfect for early readers and emerging writers. Participants will have opportunities to share their stories\, will leave with a comic they can proudly take home. \nThis program encourages: \n•        ✏️ Creativity & self expression \n•        📖 Early literacy and storytelling skills \n•        🎨 Fine motor skills and confidence in drawing \n•        🤝 Collaboration and imagination \nCome join the squad and bring your story to life—one panel at a time!
