DESCRIPTION:Make a lithopane lamp with your favourite photo!\n\n\n📌 Ages: Adults💳 Wasaga Beach Public Library card required for registration. \nA lithophane is a thin\, translucent plaque that reveals a detailed image when illuminated from behind. Traditionally made from porcelain\, lithophanes can now be created using 3D printing—and you can make your own at the WBPL Digital Lab! \nIn this hands-on workshop\, participants will:✅ Select a personal photo and prepare it for 3D printing✅ Learn how to optimize images for the best lithophane effect (high contrast\, minimal tiny details)✅ Print a custom 10×10 cm lithophane to take home \n🔹 Photo Submission: To ensure the best results\, registrants are encouraged to email their chosen image in advance to the library assistant (info to be provided to registrants). \nSpaces are limited—register today and bring your memories to life with 3D printing!

Transfer your own custom jolly “ugly Christmas” design onto a T-shirt using our heat press.\n\n\n📌 Ages: Youth & Adults💳 Wasaga Beach Public Library card required for registration. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll use your own creative ideas—or graphics-generating software—to design the most wonderfully awkward “ugly” Christmas T-shirt. Bring a clean cotton T-shirt in your preferred size and colour. Once your design is ready\, we’ll use the vinyl printer/cutter to produce it and the heat press to transfer it onto your shirt.
