On this coach bus trip for older adults we will travel to the Royal Ontario Museum where our group will enjoy a guided tour themed on “Climate Change: History and Hope”.
Admission will also include admission to the following special exhibits: “Death: Life’s Greatest Mystery” and “Being and Belonging”. After lunch spent time exploring the three levels of the museum. From Chinese architecture; Egyptian and Greek Galleries; Bronze Age; Bat Cave; Bird Gallery and Dinosaurs and more… there’s something for everyone.
You may purchase lunch on site in their cafeteria in the basement level or feel free to bring a brown bag lunch to eat in this same area. Cafés are also available on upper levels for light refreshments.
We depart from the RecPlex parking lot at 1724 Mosley St. at 8:30 AM and the approximate return is 5:30 PM.
This trip was made possible with funding from a Seniors Community Grant from the Government of Ontario.
