Resident Memberships

Becoming a library member is simple, all you need is proof of residency. However, there are a few things to consider:

  • You must be a resident of Wasaga Beach or own property within the municipality.
  • You must be able to provide proof of residence (photo ID with your Wasaga Beach address, OR a tax/utility bill showing your Wasaga Beach address AND photo ID confirming your identity).
  • Patrons under the age of 15 require a parent/guardian to provide appropriate identification and a signature assuming responsibility for any lost or damaged
    materials and related fines.
  • Students aged 15 and over without proof of residency will also require a parent/guardian for documentation.

Non-Resident Memberships

If you are not a resident of Wasaga Beach but would still like a membership there are two options available for you:

  • The first is through reciprocal borrowing agreements we have with seven of our neighbouring library systems. All you need is a membership in good standing with one of them.
  • Alternately you can obtain a membership for an annual fee. Non-Resident Memberships are issued as a family card (one card per address/household).

Appointments are 45-60 minutes in length and are booked on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Due to the popularity of this service, it may take up to one month to receive a time slot. We contact registrants to book their appointment one week ahead of their appointment. To book an appointment please complete our online form.
