Alternative Borrowing
Interlibrary Loan (ILLO) Service Update
If Wasaga Beach Public Library doesn’t have the item you’re looking for, our Interlibrary Loan (ILLO) service can help. Through ILLO, we can request materials from libraries across Ontario, allowing WBPL members to access a wider range of resources.
Important Notice: Reciprocal Borrowing
Starting January 1, 2025, WBPL will no longer participate in the Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement with nearby libraries (Clearview, Essa, Ramara, Springwater, Severn, Tay, and Penetanguishene). As of November 1, 2024, WBPL will also stop accepting new reciprocal memberships.

Renew A Borrowed Item
Sometimes life happens and your items are due before you’re finished with them. Not to worry there are three ways to renew your borrowed items so you can continue to enjoy them until you’re finished.
- Visit the front desk or call us at 705.429.5481
- Email info.wbpl@wasagabeach.com with your name, phone number and the item(s) you would like to renew
- Use the Simcoe County Library app and renew your items under the ‘My Account’ section
