Borrow From Another Library

A province-wide network that connects patrons to other public library collections in Ontario. Patrons may request up to 4 items a month from other libraries if they are unavailable in our collection.

You can place a request through the front desk, over the phone, or click here to fill out an online request.

Regular and large print books and CD audiobooks with a prior publication date of nine months or longer.

Library users must have a valid library card and an ILLO Patron Record created in our system by one of our staff.

To register, provide your full name, address, home phone number and library card number in an email to: bookrequest.wbpl@gmail.com

Once registered, you’ll receive an email with a link to a user guide about how to place your own ILLO requests.

This varies depending on the availability of the item. Many requests are filled in as little as 2 weeks but harder-to-find items may take up to 6 weeks or longer. Patrons will be notified once the item has been received or if we are unable to locate the item.
