Support

Each year people from the community donate their time, money, resources and energy to help improve the quality of our library. We’re so thankful for these donations and community support regardless of the form they take.

If you’re interested in joining this group of community-minded individuals here are a few easy ways to get involved.

Monetary Donations

We’re always happy to receive monetary donations that help us improve our services, and programs, and add additional resources to better serve the community.

Donations can be made via cash or cheque at the library. Tax receipts for donations valued over $20 can be requested.

Please note that the final allocation of gifts and donations is left to the discretion of the Wasaga Beach Public Library Board.

Support The New Building

If you’re interested in supporting our new location slated to open in late 2023 there are multiple ways to get involved.

Monetary donations are of course welcome, however, there are also community gifts available. These include commemorative library leaves that will be displayed, along with a message of your choosing in the new space.

Donating Books & Materials

While we would love to take all donations, we have to be choosy. Please read our donation guidelines below closely before bringing your items in. If you have questions please give us a call at 705.429.5481.

Become a Volunteer

As a non-profit organization libraries rely on volunteers to fill many roles within our four walls. These include offering program opportunities for our members, shelving books, delivering our Books on Wheels service, assisting with library events and representing the library within the community at large.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check.

We strive to find meaningful volunteer roles that are aligned with your interests and skills. If you are interested in becoming a library volunteer please contact our Public Services Coordinator at publicservices.wbpl@wasagabeach.com or call 705.429.5481 x2413 to explore available opportunities.
