The Wasaga Beach Public Library Strategic Plan Survey is now closed.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate and share your ideas, feedback, and vision for the future of the library. Your input will play an important role as we develop our 2027–2030 Strategic Plan and identify priorities that reflect the needs and aspirations of our community.
Over the coming months, library staff will be reviewing and analyzing the feedback received through surveys, engagement activities, and community conversations. We look forward to sharing updates as the planning process continues.

2022-2026 Strategic Plan
In 2021, the WBPL Board worked with staff and the information gleaned from the 2019/2020 New Library Programs and Services Needs Assessment report provided by consultant MASS LBP to develop a new 2022-2026 Strategic Plan.
During the planning process, the Board identified a list of core values; fundamental beliefs, and guiding principles of the organization. As well, the Board updated the library’s mission and vision statements to ensure that they reflect the library’s values.
The 2022-2026 Strategic Plan includes four main goals with 18 objectives designed to provide staff with the library’s priorities; elements to be addressed during the planning of all programs and services.
