Craft an Ugly Christmas Sweater

Ugly Christmas sweaters are trending for holiday parties but not everyone has one. Now there are no excuses and you can arrive in festive style with attire sure to start conversations.

You bring the shirt or sweater to transform and we will work on the “ugly”. Using glue guns and sewing needles, participants will design and embellish their sweaters with provided Christmas decorations such as ornaments and tinsel. Creativity is up to you and to the degree of ugly you are willing to wear!

You may wish to repurpose some old decorations of your own that don’t get used year to year for yourself or to share with others.

If you have the desire to take it to a new level to be the life of the party and incorporate battery operated mini-lights in your design, please visit a local dollar store to purchase these and bring them with you on craft night.

Remember to save the date for Dec 11 when you can return to the library to show off your design at a Christmas Sweater Social and Games Night.
