Intro to Salsa Dancing

This beginner-friendly introductory class is welcoming for everyone. The first hour will include guided instruction, and anyone who would like to stay until 8:00 PM is welcome to practice in a casual, social setting with music.
No dance partner or prior experience is needed.
What to Wear
- Clothing: Comfortable, breathable clothes that allow free movement (workout attire is not required).
- Shoes: Sneakers are perfect. Salsa shoes are welcome if you have them, but not required. (Please no flip-flops.)

About the Facilitator
Clarissa of Latin Soul Dance Simcoe is new to the community and originally from Brazil. She grew up surrounded by Latin rhythms and has been teaching dance for the past seven years, primarily in the Kitchener–Waterloo region.
Her specialties include Salsa (Cuban and Mambo), Bachata, and Brazilian styles such as Samba, Funk, Forró, and Zouk. Clarissa teaches both partner and solo formats, and she’s passionate about sharing Latin culture while building a welcoming dance community in Wasaga Beach and across Simcoe County.
