About the presenter:

Lidia Durando is an Accessibility Consultant and trainer with extensive experience in accessibility, inclusion, and information technology. She is the Founder of Make it Accessible (MIA) with over 10 years of experience implementing accessibility related legislation in Ontario and has trained over 15,000 provincial employees on creating documents accessible to all.

She previously served as Accessibility and Inclusion Lead for the Treasury Board Secretariat within the Ontario Public Service (OPS), Ontario Provincial Government.

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Lidia held diverse roles including IT Developer, Business Analyst, IT Auditor, and IT Coordinator for the Secretary of Environment. She also worked as an

IT Trainer for Microsoft Office applications for over twenty years and as an IT Consultant for Citicorp Latin America.

Within the OPS, Lidia contributed as Contract and Services Coordinator for the former Ministry of Government Services in the Supply Chain Ontario Division, and as Emergency Management Lead for Ontario Shared Services.
