Bead Studio: DIY Phone Charms

Give your phone some personality! In this fun, hands-on crafting program, participants in Grades 3 to 8 will design and create their very own customized phone charms. Using a variety of colourful beads, letter tiles, cords, and decorative accessories, participants will learn simple jewelry making techniques while exploring their creativity.

Library staff will guide participants through the steps of planning a design, choosing materials, and assembling a durable charm that can be attached to a phone case, backpack, zipper, or keyring. This program encourages fine motor skills, self expression, and social connection as participants craft together in a welcoming space.

All materials are provided, and everyone will leave with a unique charm that reflects their style.
