Experience the wonders of the winter sky with local astronomer Chris Vaughan in Wasaga Beach! If the weather cooperates, Chris will set up professional telescopes for stunning close-up views of Jupiter, Mars, beautiful double stars, star clusters, and ethereal nebulae. You’ll also be guided through the bright winter constellations with captivating star stories.
In the case of cloudy skies, the event will move indoors, and Chris will use astronomy apps to explore the night sky and answer your questions about the universe.
This all-ages event is perfect for curious minds of any age. Dress warmly, and feel free to bring binoculars or telescopes if you have them!
