This is Workshop 2 of 3 in the series. Registration is required separately for each workshop. Your registration includes a hands-on tech help lab on November 4.

Your presentation may look perfect—but can everyone read it, navigate it, and understand it?

Join Lidia Durando, Founder of Make It Accessible (MIA), for a practical workshop on creating more accessible Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own fully charged laptop to the workshop so they can follow along in Microsoft PowerPoint on their own device and reinforce what they’re learning in real time.

WE’LL COVER:

• Why document accessibility matters
• Accessible layouts
• Reading order
• Images and alternative text
• Colour and contrast
• Organizing slide content
• Designing presentations for assistive technology users
• Using the Accessibility Checker

Take away: Practical techniques for creating presentations that are more inclusive and accessible.
