This is a four-week series, and participants must attend all four sessions: October 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Join us at the Wasaga Beach Public Library for a four-week sewing experience designed for youth ages 10–15 and their parent or caregiver. Working side by side, participants will explore a variety of foundational sewing skills, including hand sewing, embellishment techniques, attaching buttons, and the basics of operating a sewing machine.
Throughout the series, families will create several small projects while building confidence and practical skills together. During the final class, participants will apply what they have learned to complete a larger take-home project.
This program is intended as a shared learning experience, and parents/caregivers are expected to be active participants throughout all sessions.
No prior sewing experience is required, just bring your creativity and willingness to learn together!
