Join local textile artist Shirley Sutton for a creative and sustainable workshop that gives new life to discarded fabrics while introducing you to the art of textile crafting!
In this hands-on session, participants will use needle felting and kumihimo braiding to create a one-of-a-kind name tag using upcycled materials. You’ll learn how to safely write your name with yarn on a wool blanket base using a special felting needle, then braid your own cord from repurposed yarn to wear your eco-friendly name tag proudly.
