PA Day Family Financial Literacy Fun!

Join the Wasaga Beach Public Library in the Remax South Community Room for a morning of fun and learning with financial literacy games and activities. Paint a coin bank, embark on a scavenger hunt, and enjoy a round of BINGO with small prizes to be won!

While you’re here, consult with financial experts from TD Bank to learn about RESPs, savings accounts, and other money matters. Representatives from Junior Achievement will also be onsite to share information about their programs that promote financial literacy, entrepreneurial skills, and career readiness for young people.

Additionally, inquire about the free reading checkups offered by Everybody Reads, a phonics-based program promoting early literacy for every child in every community. These quick, evidence-based checkups are designed to identify your child’s current reading level and provide helpful insights to support their literacy journey. Help your child discover the joy of reading! Checkup times are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with each taking approximately 10 to 15 minutes per child.

Service Canada will also be present to provide information about Social Insurance Numbers.
