Reading Buddies is a 4 wk. literacy program for children to practice and build their reading skills and self-confidence through mentorship.
Reading Buddies is a literacy program for children to practice and build their reading skills and self-confidence through mentorship with an older student. Reading Buddies is open to children grades 1 to 3, who are reading. Younger students benefit from the experience of reading practice with a positive role model, where they can improve their fluency with a patient and empathetic mentor.
Fall Session is offered from October 14th to November 4th, 2022
Ages 5+ (must be able to read)
*Each reading buddy session is 20 minutes.
IIMPORTANT: When you register for a time slot you will be committing to the same time each week for 4 weeks. We will place little buddies with the same big buddy each week.
