About the Presenter:
Gail Cocker has been a dedicated member of the Simcoe County Master Gardeners since 2017 and earned her Horticulture Certificate from the University of Guelph in 2020. After retiring, she moved to a large property in Mulmur Township, where she expanded her gardening endeavors. Gail tends to a large vegetable garden, perennial gardens, a lavender hillside, and a cutting garden while also managing 45 acres of forest.

Committed to biodiversity, Gail focuses on increasing native plant species in her gardens to restore the ecosystem. She is also an active member of the Creemore Horticultural Society and leads a volunteer team that maintains the new gardens in the Village Green in downtown Creemore.
