Dive In, Readers! Make a Splash with a Summer Reading Adventure
The TD Summer Reading Club is back at Wasaga Beach Public Library! This free summer reading challenge invites kids and teens to explore great stories, track their reading, and collect rewards along the way.
Registration opens on Friday, June 26 at 10:00 a.m., and the challenge runs until Friday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m.
Register starting June 26, 2026 online or in person at the Wasaga Beach Public Library.

Dive Into Summer Fun at Our Summer Kick-Off Party!
Celebrate the start of summer with a morning of water-themed activities, games, crafts, and hands-on learning for the whole family. Register for the TD Summer Reading Club, pick up your tracking booklet, and collect some fun swag while you’re here.

Free drop-in event for children and families of all ages.
How it Works
Read your way through 10 milestones this summer.
For every 20 minutes of reading, colour in a space on your tracker. As you reach each reward milestone, you can collect a prize and keep swimming toward your next goal.
To complete the challenge, read 1,500 minutes by Friday, August 28 at 10:00 a.m. Everyone who completes all 10 milestones will receive a special prize and be entered into the Grand Prize draw.
Collect Rewards Along the Way
There are 10 rewards to collect throughout the summer, with fun surprises waiting along the way as you reach each milestone. Tracking booklets are available at the Wasaga Beach Public Library starting June 26, and participants can begin colouring in their reading progress right away.
When you arrive at a reward indicator on your tracker, email familyservices.wbpl@wasagabeach.com to arrange pickup and continue your reading adventure toward the next goal.

The fun doesn’t stop with reading! Throughout the summer, WBPL will be offering a variety of free programs and activities for children and families. From creative workshops to hands-on adventures, there’s always something new to explore beneath the surface.

Keep the fun going with the TD Summer Reading Club kids’ website, where you can create an online notebook, track your reading, access free e-books, and enjoy online activities.
TD Summer Reading Club prizes and Recommended Reads books are generously funded by the Wasaga Beach Friends of the Library. Their continued support helps make summer reading even more exciting for children and families in our community.
