Pop Up Museum: Bridging Generations & Sharing Stories

The Wasaga Beach Public Library is proud to bring the community together for the showcase and wrap-up of its 2025/26 project, Bridging Generations: Preserving Memories, Building Connections, funded by the Ontario Government’s Seniors Community Grant.
This free public event invites all ages to step back in time and experience a celebration of Wasaga Beach history through a curated gallery, artifacts, interactive exhibits, displays, and daylong memory sharing.
On Sunday, March 15, the Library will be transformed into a walk-through historical experience, featuring a Pop-Up Museum Day, open from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Highlights include:
- Hands-on stations and activities for children (available all day)
- All-ages storytelling stations with live historians and memory champions (11:00 AM – 12:30 PM)
- 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Open Mic Sharing: Stories and Memories of Wasaga Beach
A live community storytelling event. Sparked by a memory? Guests are welcome to share a story or two, if they wish. Registration recommended. - And more throughout the day
Registration is not required for self-directed Pop-Up Museum visits.
A limited supply of the 50th Anniversary Edition of Wasaga Saga by Thelma Morrison will also be available at the Library’s Main Circulation Desk.
