Join us for a special storytime featuring The Giving Tree by Leah Dorion, a beautifully illustrated Métis story about family, values, and our connection to the natural world. Through the story of Moushoom’s childhood memories, children will explore important Métis teachings such as kindness, sharing, respect, courage, and caring for Mother Earth. After the story, participants will engage in a creative activity inspired by the themes and traditions shared in the book. This welcoming program offers young children and their caregivers an opportunity to discover Métis culture through storytelling, conversation, and art.
