Wasaga Beach Public Library is pleased to invite artists to apply for our second annual Summer Art Showcase, taking place in July and August 2026. This year’s theme is Life Up Close.
About the Exhibit
We are looking for artwork that encourages us to slow down, lean in, and discover the textures, emotions, and hidden moments that make life beautiful. From intimate details in nature to everyday objects, personal stories, and close-up perspectives, we welcome creative interpretations of the theme in a wide range of styles and mediums.
Whether you are an emerging artist, an experienced creator, or a young artist exploring your craft, we encourage you to submit your work.
Theme: Life Up Close
This summer’s showcase celebrates the beauty found in the details. “Life Up Close” invites artists to explore what happens when we pause and pay attention—whether to texture, light, feeling, memory, movement, or the small moments that are often overlooked.
We welcome a broad range of artistic approaches and encourage artists of all ages to apply.

Exhibition Fee: $25 per piece accepted into the showcase
