Author Talk: Patti Murphy

May 30 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Join us for an afternoon with author Patti Murphy as she launches her latest book, Deep Fried Evil.

Patti Murphy is the author of the Stafford Falls series, and her newest release, Deep Fried Evil is an urban fantasy set in an Ottawa diner where supernatural threats are handled alongside the lunch rush. Patti Murphy writes character-driven fiction about complicated women making questionable decisions under pressure — often with magic involved.

Her work has been described as emotionally sharp, darkly funny, and deeply invested in the consequences of love, loyalty, and the choices made in their name.

She spends most of her time making things up, and occasionally leaves her desk to talk about how stories work.

Along with being a published author, Patti delivers workshops for writers and will be the guest workshop presenter at The Wasaga Beach Public Library’s Woven Word Symposium on Sunday May 31st. Patti will also be an exhibitor in the Readers Marketplace on Sunday May 31st from 12:00-2:00 PM and you can visit her at her table then. (insert link to Woven Word collection here if possible)
