Canva Creations: Graphic Design Made Easy

Welcome to “Canva Creations: Graphic Design Made Easy,” a program offered at the WBPL Makerspace that’s perfect for aspiring designers and anyone interested in crafting visually stunning projects with ease.

Canva is an intuitive, user-friendly platform that makes graphic design accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. In this introductory session, participants will get to know the basics of Canva, including how to navigate the interface, utilize the vast library of templates, and customize designs with text, colors, and images. Whether you’re looking to design social media graphics, flyers, presentations, or just want to explore your creative side, this workshop is for you.

You’ll learn to create eye-catching designs with drag-and-drop ease and gain insight into basic design principles that will help make your work pop. Our hands-on approach means you’ll be putting theory into practice right away, creating your own designs during the workshop. By the end of the program, you’ll be able to craft beautiful graphics for any purpose and will have the confidence to continue exploring the potential of Canva.

The program will be located in the Digital Lab at the Wasaga Beach Public Library. Participants must have an email address to create a free Canva account before or during the workshop.

This program is open to participants 16 years of age and older.
