Craft Your Kingdom: Design a Cardboard Mario World

Inspired by the iconic Super Mario video game series, this creative workshop invites fans of all ages to construct their own 3D Mario-themed worlds using simple materials like cardboard, paint, and a dash of creativity. Whether you’re a seasoned gamer nostalgic for the Mushroom Kingdom or a young adventurer eager to design your own gaming landscape, this workshop is your gateway to bringing the vibrant world of Mario to life. In this hands-on session, you’ll:

Build Your World: Use cardboard to create structures like castles, pipes, and platforms. Cut, fold, and shape your cardboard into the iconic elements of the Mario universe. Paint and

Decorate: Bring your creations to life with paint, markers, and craft supplies. Design Goombas, Koopa Troopas, coins, question blocks, and more to populate your world. Learn Design Basics:

“Craft Your Kingdom” is an opportunity to step away from the screen and into a world of tangible creativity. It’s a chance to celebrate a beloved game in a new and personal way. Join us and transform simple cardboard into a Mario masterpiece!

The program will be located in the Learning Lab at the Wasaga Beach Public Library.

This program is open to participants 8 – 12 years of age.
