Ages: 10–18 years old
Join local textile artist Shirley Sutton for a creative and eco-friendly workshop focused on self-expression and sustainability. Participants will create a one-of-a-kind “selfie” portrait using wool roving and wet felting techniques—no glue or sewing required.
The session begins with a simple sketch, followed by layering colourful wool fibres to build your image. Using only water, soap, and motion, you’ll transform the fibres into felt in this hands-on art experience.
