Sew Savvy Adults: Casserole Carrier

Join our sewing coach volunteers for a step-by-step workshop where you’ll learn how to sew and do simple machine quilting to create a casserole carrier—perfect for getting your party dishes from point A to point B.
This is a two-session class, and participants must be able to attend both dates: December 10 and 17.
Prerequisite: Previous participation in a WBPL Machine Basics class or confidence as an experienced sewing machine user.
Please come prepared with the following required supplies:
• 0.75 metres of cotton fabric (from a 115 cm-wide bolt).
– You will need two 60 cm x 60 cm squares.
• Note: Thermal fleece lining will be provided by WBPL.
Please pre-wash and iron your fabric so it’s ready to cut. Irons will also be available at the library before class if you’d like to arrive early.
Space is very limited (6 spots). If your plans change after registering, please let us know so we can offer your spot to another participant.
