Story Squad: Make Your Own Comic

In this fun and imaginative program for children in Kindergarten to Grade 3, young artists and storytellers will work to design their own characters, dream up exciting adventures, and turn their ideas into a colourful comic strip.
For those who are seeking a creative kick-start, “Finish this Comic” challenges are available.
Kids will explore the basics of visual storytelling—like speech bubbles, expressions, action words, and simple panels—through guided activities perfect for early readers and emerging writers. Participants will have opportunities to share their stories, will leave with a comic they can proudly take home.
