Woven Word Symposium: Reader’s Marketplace

Drop in to the Re/Max Room at the Arena/Library between 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM and delight in a Reader’s Marketplace – a unique event bringing readers face-to-face with local authors and poets who have published their own works.
Meet the authors behind the pages, hear the inspiration behind their work, ask questions, and purchase signed copies directly from the creators themselves.
Wander through the marketplace at your own pace, browse a wide variety of genres from fiction to non-fiction, and discover new voices from right here in our region. From poetry collections and novels to memoirs, children’s books, and more, every table offers something new to explore.
Whether you are an avid reader, an aspiring writer, or simply looking for your next great read, the Reader’s Marketplace invites you to connect, discover, and celebrate local literature and literary talent.
Be prepared to pay cash or e-transfer for your purchases.
The Reader’s Marketplace will be open from 12:00-2:00 PM only.
Come support local authors. Discover new stories. Take home something unforgettable.
For authors who would like to reserve a table in the Reader’s Marketplace, complete the application form here by May 15, 2026 (there are no table fees involved).
