10 Apr Help Shape the Future of WBPL: Strategic Plan Surveys Now Open
WBPL is developing its next Strategic Plan for 2027–2030, and community feedback will play an important role in shaping the library’s priorities, goals, and future direction. Gathering community input is a key part of the strategic planning process.
We want to learn more about how you use the library, what matters most to you, and your ideas for the future of your public library. Your feedback will help guide WBPL as it grows and evolves alongside the community.
Separate surveys are available for adults and for children and youth. Whether you visit often, occasionally, or not as much as you would like, your input matters. The survey is open to both library members and non-members.
What is a Strategic Plan?
A strategic plan sets goals and creates a roadmap to help the library best serve the community. WBPL’s new Strategic Plan will be community-driven and will help define the library’s vision, mission, values, and strategic priorities for the next four years. The process will also establish goals and benchmarks to help guide the work ahead.
How are we doing this?
The Strategic Plan will be shaped by the voices of the Wasaga Beach community through this survey, along with research and a range of engagement activities.
In addition to the survey, the strategic planning process includes other community and stakeholder engagement opportunities. This spring, the strategic planning team will also be connecting with the community through focus groups, pop-up events, and one-on-one conversations.
We want to hear from you—about your experiences, your ideas, and the future you envision for Wasaga Beach Public Library.
Survey deadline
Please complete the survey by May 31, 2026.
The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.

We invite you to take part and share the survey with your family, friends, and neighbours. Every voice helps build a clearer picture of what the community wants and needs from its public library.
Privacy and confidentiality
This survey is voluntary, anonymous, and confidential. Responses are stored electronically and retained for one year. Information will only be accessed by the strategic planning team for the purpose of analyzing and reporting on the findings. Results will be shared with Library Board and leadership in summary form to help inform future library service.
