About Jepherson

Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador Jepherson moved as a school age child to Toronto with his family where he grew up and lived until recently, now calling Wasaga Beach his home.
His early artistic and creative influences have been: creative writing; sculpting; embroidery; sewing and sketching which grew to a passion for mosaics.
Jepherson went on to enrol in a trade school where he learned to work with and set tiles, terrazzo, marble and granite stone and the commercial application of these materials for over 20 years.

Jepherson found himself dreaming of the day when his work could make the leap from his sketches to canvas and onto large scale murals, swimming pools, ceilings and foyers.
After many years of studying both the old and modern masters, Jepherson finally stumbled upon his own fresh and modern interpretation of the classical mosaic style.

Come and be enchanted by the work and creative journey of this talented local artist, on display throughout March.
