Wasaga Beach Public Library is pleased to present New Beginnings, a new art exhibit by local artist Elaine Roe, now on display at the Library’s gallery wall throughout April.

Since childhood, Elaine has had a deep appreciation for drawing and creative expression. While she spent many years focused on volunteering and raising a family, her passion for art remained a constant. In 1994, she pursued a Fine Arts Diploma, and in 2021, she returned to her first love of creating—marking a meaningful new chapter in her artistic journey.

New Beginnings reflects that return. Working in mixed media, acrylic, and pastel, Elaine explores colour, texture, and emotion in a collection that is both personal and expressive. Her work is inspired by a sense of faith, creativity, and the joy found in the act of making. Each piece invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the feeling behind the work.

The exhibit will continue to evolve throughout the month, with additional pieces being added as they are completed.

We invite visitors to stop by the Library to experience this thoughtful and evolving collection.
