Wasaga Beach Public Library is pleased to welcome visitors to this year’s Summer Art Showcase: Life Up Close, now on display in the library gallery throughout July and August.

Featuring 36 works of art by 31 talented artists from both near and far, Life Up Close celebrates the beauty, wonder, and curiosity found in everyday life. Through close-up perspectives, intimate moments, familiar objects, and compelling textures, the exhibit invites viewers to slow down, look a little closer, and discover the extraordinary in the ordinary.

Visitors are encouraged to take their time exploring the collection and to browse the artist binder located within the gallery. The binder features information about each participating artist, along with contact details for those who have chosen to share them for anyone interested in learning more about their work or making purchase inquiries.

Join Us for the Launch Celebration

The community is also invited to the Summer Art Showcase: Life Up Close Launch Event on Thursday, July 9, from 6:00–7:00 PM at Wasaga Beach Public Library.

Celebrate the talented artists behind this year’s exhibit while enjoying an evening of art, conversation, and community. The event is free and open to everyone.
