WBPL is developing its next Strategic Plan for 2027–2030, and we’re looking for feedback from Wasaga Beach residents who don’t currently use the library.

We want to better understand what barriers may prevent you from using the library, what services or programs would be valuable to you, and how the library can better meet the needs of our community. Your feedback will help guide WBPL as it grows and evolves over the next four years.

What is a Strategic Plan?

A Strategic Plan sets goals and creates a roadmap to help the library best serve the community. WBPL’s new Strategic Plan will help define the library’s vision, mission, values, and strategic priorities while establishing goals to guide our work through 2030.

Why are we asking non-members?

Hearing from people who don’t currently use the library is just as important as hearing from those who do. Understanding why some residents choose not to use library services helps us identify opportunities to improve accessibility, remove barriers, develop new services, and ensure the library continues to meet the changing needs of the entire Wasaga Beach community.

How are we doing this?

This survey is one part of our community engagement process. The Strategic Plan will also be informed by research, community and stakeholder engagement activities, focus groups, pop-up events, and conversations with residents throughout the planning process.
