The Wasaga Beach Public Library is thrilled to host the Woven Word Symposium on Thursday, November 28, 2024. This immersive event is dedicated to celebrating the power of words, bringing together local authors, aspiring writers, and book lovers for a day of workshops, talks, performances, and a bustling Reader’s Marketplace.

Event Highlights:

Morning

• 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Kickstart your morning with Local Adult Author Lightning Talks in the Gallery Lounge Area, where authors share insights and experiences from their writing journeys.
• 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM: If you’re interested in writing for younger audiences, don’t miss the Writing for Children Workshop in the Rotary Room (upper level).
• 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Bring your little ones for a fun-filled Pop-up Storytime Station at the library.

Evening
