Important Update: Changes to Reciprocal Borrowing Access

At Wasaga Beach Public Library, we’re committed to prioritizing services for our Wasaga Beach residents. As part of this commitment, WBPL will no longer participate in the Reciprocal Borrowing Agreement with nearby libraries. This change allows us to focus our resources and services on the local community.

What This Means for You:

  • WBPL Residents: Your WBPL membership remains active, giving you full access to all WBPL services and programs. However, please note that starting January 1, 2025, free access to collections from the seven neighbouring library systems (Clearview, Essa, Ramara, Springwater, Severn, Tay, and Penetanguishene) will no longer be available. To continue borrowing from these libraries, please contact them directly to learn about their non-resident membership options.
  • Reciprocal Members: As of January 1, 2025, WBPL will no longer offer reciprocal memberships. If you would like to continue using WBPL services, we invite you to join as a paid member. Non-resident membership fees are currently $65 per year.

Options for Non-Residents
Non-residents can enjoy full access to WBPL’s services and resources by purchasing a membership. For more information on membership options, please visit our Membership page or contact us directly.
