Wasaga Beach Public Library is excited to offer the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program!
Our goal is to support emergent literacy skills and foster a life-long love of reading.
Enjoy reading 1,000 books with your little ones. Log reading and collect badges along the way. The concept is simple, the rewards are priceless. Read a book to your infant, toddler or preschooler. The goal is to have read 1,000 books before your child starts kindergarten.
If you read just 1 book a day…you will have read 365 books in one year. This amounts to 730 books in two years and 1095 by three years!
