PARKING AND SHUTTLE INFORMATION
We’re looking forward to welcoming guests to Georgian Bay Reads on Saturday, October 25, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Wasaga Beach Public Library (544 River Road West) for an evening celebrating great Canadian literature.
Please note that the River Road West entrance and southeast parking lot are temporarily closed due to nearby construction. Parking at the library is available but limited, and access to the building and event entrance will be through Theme Park Drive.
To make your evening easy and enjoyable, a free event shuttle will operate between the Old Wasaga Arena (425 River Road West) and the Wasaga Beach Public Library.
Shuttle Schedule
- Before the Event: 6:00–7:15 p.m. (last pickup at 7:15 p.m.)
- After the Event: 9:00–9:30 p.m. (last pickup at 9:30 p.m.)
The shuttle will run continuously during these times, using a Wasaga Beach Public Transit Bus.

Get ready, Georgian Bay! The region’s most anticipated literary showdown is back. Georgian Bay Reads 2025 will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Wasaga Beach Public Library.
This annual celebration of Canadian literature brings together defenders from five local libraries who will go head-to-head in a lively, fast-paced debate. Their mission? To convince the audience and judges that their chosen book deserves the coveted title of Georgian Bay Reads Champion.
