On Tuesday, November 11, the Wasaga Beach Public Library will be closed in observance of Remembrance Day as we take time to honour and remember the brave individuals who have served, and continue to serve, our country.
Remembrance Day is a time for reflection, gratitude, and community. We encourage residents to join the Town of Wasaga Beach for the annual Remembrance Day Ceremony taking place that morning.
Town of Wasaga Beach – Remembrance Day Ceremony
Date: Tuesday, November 11, 2025
Time: 10:30 a.m.
Location: Wasaga Beach Town Hall, 30 Lewis Street
A procession will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by a ceremony at Town Hall. At 11:00 a.m., the community will join together for a moment of silence to honour the courage, sacrifice, and service of veterans and active members of the Canadian Armed Forces.
We invite our community to pause, reflect, and pay tribute—whether by attending the ceremony, wearing a poppy, or taking time for personal reflection.
The library will reopen for regular hours on Wednesday, November 12.
Lest we forget.
